Best Chicago Deep Dish / Stuffed Crust Pizza
Chef Miguel Gonzalez of Moretti's won the 2026 Best Chicago Deep Dish/Stuffed Crust Pizza award at the International Pizza Expo held in Las Vegas. Out of more than 600 international competitors, his signature pie was crowned the best of the best.
The competition, also known as the International Pizza Challenge, was held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 24–26, 2026. Gonzalez took home the top prize for Chicago deep dish alongside guidance from Chef Carlos Sanchez.
